New Year’s Eve Rituals for Health, Money and Love
A candle can transform the atmosphere. Its scent, its color and its mere presence can lift our spirits. However, a carefully chosen candle and above all well placed in the home, can attract health, wealth and love in the coming year.
Alina Rubi, an astrologer, advised people to follow certain rituals to prosper and succeed in various spheres of life. One hour before the clock strikes twelve, light a candle and let it burn for the first day of the new year.
Candle colors
Depending on the goal you are trying to achieve, candles offer the following colors:
- Place a yellow candle in the southernmost part of the house for business success. The southern part of the house, according to feng shui, corresponds to professional success.
- Light a blue candle in the southernmost corner of the house to ensure professional success.
- The pink candle to attract new love is placed in the common areas, such as the living room, kitchen, bedroom, etc.
- To maintain passion with your partner, light a red candle in frequent rooms.
- To attract health, light a green candle and say: “I want to be healthy”. Place the candle in public spaces. Ask for the well-being of the whole house, not just the person performing the ritual.
- It is recommended to light a golden candle and place it in the southern part of the house if money is needed to pay debts.
- Light a purple candle to balance energies if a person or family desires peace after a year of arguments, divorce, separation, or violence. Violet can transform energies.
- Place the candle in a dish of water to avoid accidents.

In response to readers’ questions about baths that can help attract good fortune and prosperity in the coming year, Rubi noted that rue is a miraculous plant.
She recommends boiling the leaves of the plant to make a decoction, straining the water and bathing in it to prepare a good rue bath. He says: “It is a good bath to cleanse you and attract prosperity”. Baths of rue soap and other products containing it are also effective.
