In New York City, a story worth telling developed. In one of my talks, a lady was a faithful listener, while I was recounting the anecdote of the review that Neville Goddard presents in his work “How to Use Your Imagination”.
You Are the Author of Your Story: Neville Goddard’s Lesson on the Power of Imagination in New York City
The story explains that man, unaware of the power of his mind, ends his day exhausted and accepts events as they happened. However, just before going to sleep, Goddard suggests that a man should rewrite his day and do it just as he wanted it to have happened.
A valuable lesson for those who seek to use their imagination to create their own reality.
Transform Your Reality with Neville Goddard’s Law of Revision
The Law of Revision is a concept popularized by Neville Goddard, a writer and spiritual teacher who flourished in the 1950s. According to Goddard, the Law of Revision refers to the ability to review events from the past in our minds and experience them in a different way.
In other words, the Law of Revision suggests that we can change our perception and understanding of a past event and thereby transform our present and future experience of that event.
To achieve this, Goddard recommended a daily review process, in which one views the past event in a more positive and satisfying way, in such a way that the subconscious mind accepts it as true.
The Law of Revision is a concept that has been adopted by many modern spiritual teachers and life coaches, who use it as a tool to help people overcome trauma, emotional problems and mental limitations.
In essence, the Law of Revision suggests that we are the creators of our own reality and that we can change our past to transform our present and future.
How the Revision Act helped a grandmother reconnect with her family after two years of separation
The story of the Revision Act comes to life in an inspirational story of a woman who used it to reconnect with her family. The protagonist had been kicked out of her daughter-in-law’s house two years ago and during all that time there was no correspondence between them.
Despite sending his grandson more than two dozen gifts, he never received a response.
However, when the lady learned about the Revision Act, she decided to implement it. For seven consecutive nights, just before bed, she imagined two letters: one from her grandson and the other from her daughter-in-law, in which they expressed their deep affection for her and wondered why she hadn’t visited them.
She repeated this exercise every night, reading and holding the imaginary cards in her mind until she felt satisfied. And on the eighth day, she received a letter from her daughter-in-law that contained not one but two letters: one from her grandson and one from her daughter-in-law.
To her surprise, both cards were practically identical to those she had imagined days before.
The lady demonstrated wisdom and perseverance in using the Law of Revision to attract love and connection to her. His story inspires others to use this law to bring about positive changes in their lives.
The Art of Revision: Visualization for Success
The ability to visualize and review our thoughts can be a valuable tool in any aspect of life. If applied to the health field, for example, it can have a significant impact on recovery and well-being.
Imagine for a moment that you are sick and visualize a close friend. With his face in mind, make his expression reflect the image you want to project to the world. Now, listen to his voice as he tells you that he has never seen you so well. In response, he utters with conviction: “I’ve never felt better.”
What if you have suffered a foot injury? Through visualization, you can mentally recreate every step you would take if your foot were completely healthy. Do it over and over again until it becomes a tangible reality.
Remember, what you think and visualize in your mind, can manifest in reality. Then, make every thought positive and productive to achieve your goals!
Persistent Imagination: Key to Success
Intensely awakening attention and fully absorbing yourself in the revised action is the requirement to achieve an experience of expansion and refinement of the senses. Through this imaginative exercise, a deeper vision of the inner world can be obtained.
Enjoying an abundant life is possible in the present, however, to experience it it is necessary to have the feeling of the creator through our imagination.
Persistent imagination, focused on the feeling of having fulfilled one’s desire, is the secret of all successful operations. Only in this way can the intention be fulfilled and success achieved.
