We are often our own worst enemies and cruelest critics. Self-doubt and self-hatred can be one of life’s greatest obstacles. Today only see in yourself the good. When you focus on the right things, you will find how much easier it is to love yourself. It is better to remember the good things.
August 28 – 2nd of Elul
Choose someone you love dearly today and find a way to do something special for them, something that shows them how much you love them. When you share the Light with others, you increase the Light in the world.
August 29 – 3rd of Elul
What do you want more of this year, a new job, good friends? Concentrate on one thing and imagine that it is already yours. How are you doing? Keep this pleasant feeling in mind throughout the day. The energy you release by doing this will attract the right people and situations into your life.
August 30 – 4th of Elul
Call a good friend and ask him what he thinks you should improve on. No matter how difficult his answer is, thank him for his sincerity. Now consider what steps you can take to improve.
August 31 – 5th of Elul
Every barrier you have with another person is a barrier between you and the light. Try to communicate with these people as diplomatically as possible and tell them how you feel if you have offended or hurt them.
Understand why they are suffering and accept that you caused them pain without excuse. Whether they accept your apology or not, your humility will shine through in both of you.
September 1 – 6th of Elul
Notice a loved one’s improvement and let them know you have noticed their change.
September 2 – 7th of Elul
Gratitude and appreciation are powerful antidotes to depression, unhappiness and dissatisfaction.
When you are busy looking for good things, especially the things others have done for you, your attention will be diverted from your mistakes. What are some things you are grateful for in your life?
September 3 – 8th of Elul
Our consciousness and behavior create experiences in our life. Sow the seeds of positivity today by showing free kindness to as many people as possible.

Step out of your comfort zone by being extremely patient and loving with everyone you meet today.
September 5 – 10th of Elul
Look inside yourself and see if you can recall any past emotional events that you were afraid to face. These situations tend to repeat themselves until they are resolved.
September 6 – 11th of Elul
Don’t respond to any criticism you get today; just take note of the comments regardless of what people say to you, in case such a situation happens.
September 7 – 12th of Elul
Practice active listening. Don’t interrupt their comments. Maintain eye contact and listen sincerely.
September 8 – 13th of Elul
Surprise a friend or family member today with something they like.
September 9 – 14th of Elul
Life is a paradox. If you want to be loved, you have to give love. If you want to be appreciated, you must appreciate others. This is the best way to get what you want.
Practice this today: focus on what you want and try to give it to someone else first.
September 10 – 15th of Elul
Sensitivity is the motto of the day: look closely at the people around you and try to see beyond the surface. Ask them: how do they feel, how can I help you?
September 11 – 16th of Elul
Sometimes some of the negative incidents from our past are blessings in disguise because they push us towards changes we could not achieve without them. Meditate today on clearing that past; see if you can recall a particular event that turned out to be a blessing.
September 12 – 17th of Elul
Do an act of generosity without indicating that you are solely responsible for that action.
September 13 – 18th of Elul
How to get out of your stagnation? By sharing with others and thinking of them. Reflect on how you can help. It can be as simple as sincerely listening to someone.
September 14 – 19th of Elul
Kabbalah emphasizes the importance of never forgetting a good deed someone has done for you. Remember someone who helped you a lot, but you are no longer in touch with them. Find a way to do something good for that person. If that doesn’t work, send them loving thoughts.
September 15 – 20th of Elul
The Kabbalists teach that when we miss an opportunity to say something positive or perform a positive action, it can have the same effect as saying or acting negatively.
Look for opportunities to do so, to have a positive impact on your life and take the opportunity to reveal that Light!
September 16 – 21st of Elul
Do you love yourself? Don’t be afraid to appreciate who you are and what makes you unique. If the Light created you and blew all this energy into you, you must be something special.
September 17 – 22nd of Elul
Pick someone who has hurt you in the past and ask yourself if your heart can forgive them. Yes, some painful memories are hard to erase, but you only hurt yourself when you hold a grudge.
September 18 – 23rd of Elul
Think of an area in your life where you are not acting in the right way. Decide right now that you will change it.
September 19 – 24th of Elul
The fulfillment you seek is a reality, it is happening right now. The truth is you are where you need to be. Do not delay. Decide what you want and act.
September 20 – 25th of Elul
You are human, it is normal to get angry with your friends and family. Unfortunately, anger and resentment lead to broken relationships. Only in retrospect do we regret letting those silly confrontations tear us apart.
Pick at least one person in your life from whom you have distanced yourself. Remember what you like about this person and reach out to them. Life is too short to let petty squabbles keep you from the people you love the most.
September 21 – 26th of Elul
When was the last time you made new friends? Most of us have a hard time meeting people because we are too judgmental of strangers. Today try to get to know someone new. Train yourself to see beyond their appearance and connect directly with their soul.
September 22 – 27th of Elul
There is a force involved whose sole mission is to stop us from getting things done. During this day, notice the times when you feel like giving up. Try to hold on a little longer than you think.
September 23 – 28th of Elul
The Kabbalists say that when you hurt others, you hurt yourself. Think of someone in your life whom you have hurt. Feel the pain you caused them. In your mind and heart, ask him or her to forgive you. If appropriate, contact the person and apologize.
September 24 – 29th of Elul
Sometimes we become attached to our opinions, even though we know they are wrong. Practice today letting go of stubbornness and the need to be right. Even if you know you are right, move on.
September 25 – 30th of Elul
We’ve all been guilty of advising from time to time, even if you didn’t ask for it. Today, be careful with your advice-giving habits. Practice listening more and giving your opinion less.
